More Photos from the Keys

A beautiful day to travel on the Florida Bay, but Oceanside had 7' waves.

I was here too.
Lorelei
Sunset at the Lorelei bar

In New England, small harbor-towns shoot off cannons at sunset. In some harbors, we blow our horns, but in the Florida Keys, they blow into their conch (say “konk”) shells to celebrate the sunset. It’s fascinating to hear all those off-key notes honking into the west. In the bars, we all raised a glass to toast the end of the day.
Abandoned by people, inhabited by cormorants
It's always fun and exciting to see the dolphins!
Lots of these.
Gorgeous, isn't he?
